HR Operations Partner (Blockchain)

This client is one of the largest blockchain development companies in the world building out household name applications across finance, DeFi, NFT’s and general Blockchain SaaS solutions. Most of their employees operate fully remotely and we are looking for staff across a number of disciplines with this top tier client.

  • Streamlining select P&T processes, programs, policies, etc. that are most in need of a redesign
  • Standardise processes and programs where possible
  • Executing daily people related data processing requests from teams, people partners employees, new hires, terminations, visas, etc.
  • Accurately maintaining employee records including on-boarding, off-boarding, employee personal and employment data, and mass data changes
  • Providing prompt, courteous and accurate customer support in resolution of human resource transactions
  • Ensuring employee/lead questions and requests are addressed in timely and accurate manner
  • Providing suggestions and/or recommendations for changes to applicable processes or tools as recognised from functioning in the role on a daily basis
  • Maintaining a strong focus on metrics to understand the needs of our employees and leads while sharing the data with the People Partners, Talent Acquisition and Comp and Talent teams to further influence their initiatives
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees to help reduce legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Partnering with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Manage onsite mailboxes
Your responsibilities include the following:
  • Serve as first line and primary contact for all people related inquiries:
    • Promptly escalate issues appropriately to Payroll, IT and other areas of people
    • Works with P&T process owners and People Partnering to support new services
    • Update and improve the knowledge repository to enable team to take ownership of a higher percentage of inbound inquiries
    • Actively identifies opportunities for educating team
    • Check HR mailbox, scan, file documents and distribute to appropriate people as needed
    • Supporting and providing legal and regulatory documentation
    • Providing and supporting documentation for third parties
    • Managing right to work 
  • Onboarding and separation administration:
    • Ensure that new employees are effectively on-boarded and terminated employees are appropriately exited
    • Serve as primary contact for all new hires and terms for benefits questions
  • Employee data maintenance:
    • Administer activities associated with capturing, updating and maintaining employee specific personal and work data Includes but not limited to
    • Maintain benefit records and documentation
    • Perform routine updates of employee data in HRMS system
    • Ensure employee files are maintained as legally require
    • Handle employment verifications from outside sources
  • Leave administration:
    • Administer activities associated with capturing, updating and maintaining employee leave information
    • Act as point of contact for all employee Leave of Absence related inquiries
    • Collect, review and obtain approvals on all Leave of Absence requests
    • Prepare and send Leave of Absence correspondence to employees and keep accurate records of Leave of Absence status
    • Communicate Leave of Absence status and updates to payroll and people partners
  • Payroll administration:
    • Supporting the coordination and management of payroll 
    • Working with our third party payroll providers to administer payroll
    • Compile internal reports from payroll systems and 3rd parties as needed
    • Input hours for our intern and relevant contingent worker population
    • Perform payroll audits after each payroll cycle
  • Compensation and benefits:
    • Perform benefits administration, coordinating with vendors as needed to support claims resolution, change reporting approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees where needed 
    • Administer in systems compensation changes as directed
