Job Description: Producer - YouTube Blockchain/Crypto Channel

Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy & Development:
○ Lead the creation of compelling, high-quality video content for the YouTube channel that aligns with our brand and business goals.
○ Develop content ideas, storylines, and formats based on data insights and audience preferences, ensuring content resonates with our target audience.
○ Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute innovative content that stays ahead of industry trends.
2. Production Management:
○ Oversee the end-to-end production process, from pre-production planning, scripting, and storyboarding, to filming, post-production, and final delivery.
○ Ensure all content meets the highest standards of quality, is delivered on time, and stays within budget.
○ Manage production schedules, crew, and resources effectively to maximize efficiency and output.
3. Industry Expertise:
○ Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, news, and developments in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
○ Provide expert insights and ensure that all content is accurate, relevant, and reflects the current landscape of the industry.
○ Will be a big plus if can educate and inform the content team on key blockchain/crypto concepts, ensuring the accuracy and depth of information presented.
4. Networking & Relationship Building:
○ Leverage your network of industry contacts, including KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), project leaders, and venture capitalists, to secure high-profile interviews, collaborations, and partnerships.
○ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with influencers, experts, and other key stakeholders in the blockchain/crypto ecosystem.
○ Identify and pursue opportunities for exclusive content, guest appearances, and co-branded initiatives.
5. Data-Driven Decision Making:
○ Utilize data analytics to inform content strategy, production decisions, and audience engagement efforts.
○ Regularly analyze YouTube analytics, audience demographics, and performance metrics to optimize content for reach, engagement, and retention.
○ Implement A/B testing and other data-driven techniques to refine content formats, publishing schedules, and promotional strategies.
○ Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to integrate data insights into broader channel growth strategies.
6. Channel Growth & Optimization:
○ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as views, watch time, subscriber growth, and audience retention to drive continuous improvement.
○ Develop and implement strategies to maximize the channel's visibility and reach through SEO, metadata optimization, and content distribution.
○ Experiment with new formats, technologies, and approaches to keep the channel fresh, engaging, and competitive.

Qualifications:
● Experience: 3+ years of experience in content production, with a focus on video for digital platforms, preferably YouTube.
● Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
● Data Analytics: Strong proficiency in utilizing data analytics tools (e.g., YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics) to drive content strategy and decision-making.
● Network: Strong connections within the blockchain/crypto industry, including KOLs, projects, and venture capitalists.
● Technical Skills: Proficient in video production tools and software, including editing, scripting, and project management platforms.
● Creative Vision: Ability to generate original and innovative content ideas that align with the channel's brand and objectives.
● Leadership: Proven experience leading production teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience working with influencers or in influencer marketing within the blockchain/crypto space.
● Familiarity with YouTube analytics and best practices for optimizing video content.
● A background in journalism, media studies, or a related field is a plus.
