Receivables, Payables & Payroll Accountant - Metaverse Project

We are looking for a Receivables, Payables & Payroll Accountant to handle the daily accounting operations activities at the company. You will manage the account receivables, account payables, and payroll. You will report to the Chief Accountant.


Responsibilities

• Issue and book invoices
• Identify and track slow-paying customers and suggest DSO improvement solutions
• Collaborate with People’s Team to implement, maintains, and review payroll processing. Accounting timely the payroll-related transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions
• Schedule and post business transactions, verify and process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Ensure invoices posted are aligned with the accounting SOPs: Approved Purchase Requests, goods/services received, etc.  
• Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
• Ensure GL accuracy
• Collaborate with the Treasury team for disbursements, collections, and reconciliations
• Ensure the accuracy of the financial documents storage, for payment, auditing, and tax purposes
• Maintain vendor's and clients’ databases in the accounting system
• Suggest accounting improvements (Chart of Accounts, tools, etc.)
• Identify and communicate WRC opportunities
• Ad-hoc requests
• Prepare other reports and participate in other special projects as requested

 
Requirements

• Bachelor degree
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, CA, CMA, etc.) is a plus
• 5+ years minimum of experience, including 2+ years in charge of APs and/or ARs
• Experienced in an international blockchain environment is a plus
• Experienced in multi-country – multi entities accounting is mandatory
