Date: 17 Jan 2023

Decentralized technologies have been making some waves over the past couple of years, to say the least. The web3 ecosystem has seen a lot of innovative projects and a ton of money invested into it. If you're looking to get started working with decentralized technologies or are just curious about what all the fuss is about, here are some of my favorite resources for getting started with everything blockchain:

Here are a few examples of great sources of information on the topic of Web3 and decentralized technologies:

The Web3 Foundation:

Promotes development of the decentralized web and offers research papers, developer resources, and educational materials on the Web3 ecosystem.

The Ethereum Foundation:

Offers resources for developers on the Ethereum blockchain, including documentation, tutorials, and developer tools.

The Block:

A web3 focused media that offers news, analysis, and research on decentralized technologies and the Web3 ecosystem.

The DeFi Handbook:

A comprehensive guide to decentralized finance, covering everything from the basics to advanced topics and use cases.

ConsenSys:

Blockchain software company providing resources on decentralized technologies including articles, videos, and podcasts.

DeFi Pulse:

A website that tracks the growth and development of the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem.

Podcasts:

Like "Epicenter" and "The Defiant" discuss projects, protocols, and people in the web3 ecosystem.

Medium blogs:

Like "The Defiant" and "A16Z" discuss different projects, protocols, and people in the web3 ecosystem.

Meetups and Conferences:

like "Devcon" and "Web3Summit" bring together developers, researchers, and entrepreneurs to share their experiences and insights on the Web3 ecosystem.

The decentralization of technology offers a lot of exciting opportunities, including more secure and robust platforms, lower fees, a wide variety of decentralized applications, and even the potential to transform how governments function. In other words, it's an area that's sure to generate plenty of buzz in the coming years.
